Infopark CEO Mr. Hrishikesh Nair inaugurated the organic farm in InfoPark garden(13-05-16). The online vegetable marketing site farmersfz.com that has been successfully operating for over 300 days is the one who has taken the responsibility to look after the farm.

The much awaited FarmersFZ mobile app was launched on this occasion. organic farming at infopark has been inagurated by Mr.Regi K Thomas , Dy.Manager-Administration infopark Kochi, by planting the sapling. Techie's Prakruthi is set up to create awareness among the techies about the importance of organic farming and farming in general. The director of farmersfz, Mr. Pradeep PS said that he was greatly pleased and happy about the kind of acceptance he received for setting up the farm inside InfoPark.NASSCOM representatives Arun Nair, Sujit Unni were there at the event.

The motive of this venture is to attract the youngsters who are moving away from farming, as well as to increase the farm reserve in the state along with creating job opportunities in the field. The first phase of farming here will make use of the inexpensive method called sipup farming. By setting up such a farm inside InfoPark, farmersfz is trying to introduce an idea of 'Stay safe and healthy' for the employees to get out of their cubicles and get in touch with nature through farming and encourage them to cultivate vegetables on their own.
