It was undoubtedly a great time for all of us to coordinate such a grand event that connected many young farmers across Kerala. Yuvakarshakasangamam was one of a kind experience for all the participants those who love farming. The function which was held in Thrissur Town Hall on 7th March 2016 was inaugurated by Ms. Sreeja Arakotukara, who is yet another farmer. Tibin Parakkal president of Yuvakarshakavedhi was precided the function. Actor Anoop Chandren was a special guest for the function. Presence of Madhav Gadgil (Madhav Dhananjaya Gadgil is an Indian ecologist, academic, writer, columnist and the founder of the Centre for Ecological Sciences, a research forum under the aegis of the Indian Institute of Science) made the function more attractive and informative, who has proven to be a great supporter of our initiative. Yuvakarshakasangamam 2016 was conducted by Yuvakarshakavedhi, an organization that aims to connect production, marketing and distribution of vegetables and to ensure best reward for all the farmers. More than 500 participants, in which 300 youth blood to farm for the future. Sapling stall,Seedling stall,Food stall, Organic lunch/tea all made the event a unique one.

FarmersFZ takes pride in taking a major role in this initiative. We have created website for the team and have sponsored vegetables for the event. FarmersFZ's production & marketing model has got a tremendous attention from all the participants. Many of them said that FarmersFZ have given them the strength and confidence to do more and better farming. Interaction with many of the established farmers helped us gain more knowledge in the area, and a bunch of farmers showed their interest to tie up with FarmersFZ in the coming days.
